MNR medical college director arrested

Sangareddy, Andhra Pradesh, Mar 8 (UNI) Police today arrested MNR Medical College Director Ravi Varma for his alleged involvement in the recent attack on a local TV channel crew.

Police said a search was on to nab another Director Vasu Varma.

They said Varma would be produced before the court.

A local television channel reporter and his colleagues were allegedly attacked by the Directors of the MNR medical college a few days ago while covering the alleged irregularities of the college.

Media organisations have demanded the arrest of the Directors and the Government had promised to take action against the culprits.
