Medico killed in road accident

Eluru, Mar 8 (UNI) A medico was killed on the spot and an other seriously injured when a speeding lorry in which they were travelling hit a two-wheeler on Chennai-Kolkata national highway near Aashram Medical College.

According to police the duo, Chandra Sekhar and Ramachandra Reddy from Vijayawada were studying third year, MBBS in Aashram Medical College.

The lorry, proceeding from Tadepalligudem hit the motorcycle while they were going to college.

The deceased was identified as E Chandra Sekhar (21).

The injured was admitted to a Government Hospital here where his condtion was stated to be critical, police added.
