Man charged for impersonating Nawab of Hyderabad

Ayodhya, Mar 8 (UNI) A man has been charged with forgery for managing entry at the disputed Ram Janmabhoomi complex by posing as an ancestor of the Nawab of Hyderabad.

On January 13 this year, Mohd Shahid Khan -- posing himself as a trustee of Tirupati Balaji Temple and Nawab of Hyderabad's ancestor -- had managed entry at the site through the VIP pathway and offered 1,100 'laddus' to the makeshift 'Ramlala' temple.

Superintendent of Police K K Asthana yesterday said the case was registered on Tuesday evening.
