Major fire at BMC godown in Andheri

Mumbai, Mar 8 (UNI) A major fire broke out in two godowns of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), at Andheri in western suburbs here, during wee hours today.

Fire brigade sources said at around 0400 hours, fire broke out in Gali Number 8 and 9 in which the corporation had kept seized wooden material belonging to hawkers.

The cause of the fire is not known, the sources added.
