K.C. Jena elected CILT-INDIA National Chairman
New Delhi, Mar 8 (UNI) Mr K.C. Jena, Member Staff, Railway Board, has been elected National Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Logistic and Transport-India (CILT-India).
Headquartered in London, CILT is a non-official organisation.
Established in 1919, it has a membership of 40,000 all over the world. CILT deals with logistics and all modes of transportation.
CILT-India division is a growing organisation, which hopes to play its part in improving standards of logistics and transportation in the country.
Capt. J.S. Gill, Nautical Advisor, Govt. of India, Mr. K.K.
Agarwal, former Member Traffic, Railway Board and Lt. Gen. D.V.
Kalra (retd.) were elected vice-chairmen, while N.M.
Balasubrahamanyam, former Executive Director, Institute of Rail Transport was elected as Secretary General.
Mr Vinod K. Asthana, GGM (Operations), IRCTC, was elected as Treasurer.
