High Court reduces Monica's jail term to 3 yrs

Hyderabad, Mar 8 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh High Court today reduced the jail term of former starlet Monica Bedi in a fake passport case from five years to three years.

Mr Justice B Seshasayana Reddy said while delivering the judgement, he had also took into account Bedi's detention period of nine months in Portugal.

Special Court of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had earlier awarded Bedi, an associate of gangster Abu Salem, five years jail term in the case.
