Govt forms committee to ensure transparent administration
Chennai, Mar 8 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Government has constituted a committee to give necessary recommendations to remove red tapism and ensure transparent and corruption-free administration.
The ten-member Administrative Reforms Committee would be headed by former Madras High Court Judge A K Rajan, an official release said here today.
The members included retired IAS officer V Viswanathan, retired IPS officer S Kumarasamy and Alandur Municipality Chairman R S Bharathi.
Law Department Tamil-wing Director V Chandran will be the member-secretary of the Committee.
Chief Minister M Karunanidhi had constituted the committee in keeping with his party's promise in election manifesto to provide a corruption-free administration, the release said.
UNI
