CII, WIPO to initiate executive prog for capability building
New Delhi, Mar 8 (UNI) Industry chamber CII together with the Worldwide Academy of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), Geneva will start an executive programme -- Strategic Intellectual Property Management -- in Goa from March 11-13 for capability building in senior executives.
This initiative will examine the proactive management of intellectual property (IP) assets in the global market place.
The Goa programme will be conducted by contemporary leaders and practitioners who will provide valuable insight on creating value and sustaining competitive advantage in the knowledge economy.
The faculty are James Conley - Professor, Kellogg School of Management, Chicago, Tony Hadjiloucas - Director, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, London and Mats Parup - Head of Corporate Intellectual Property, Novartis, Basel.
The participants come from the senior and executive level from business organisations, R&D institutions and the IP legal community from the US, Malaysia, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Zambia, Trinidad and Tobago, India, Pakistan, Australia, Portugal, Sri Lanka and Kenya.
This initiative is expected to open up several such capability building measures in Intellectual Property in the country UNI
