Booty worth Rs 2.90 lakh looted from noted architect's house

Akola, March 8 (UNI) Miscreants broke into the house of noted architect Ravi Khawle and looted cash and gold ornaments worth about Rs 2.90 lakh.

The incident occurred last night. All members of the family were fast asleep when the robbers entered Khawle's house through the window and decamped with the booty from the cupboard, police sources today said.

A manhunt has been launched to nab the culprits, sources added.
