BJP to form Coordination Committee in Uttarakhand for public servi
Dehradun, Mar 8 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party President Rajnath Singh today assured that the Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri-led state government would provide pro-public governance in Uttarakhand.
Addressing a press conference after the swearing in ceremony of General Khanduri as Uttarakhand's new Chief Minister, Mr Singh said the BJP government would form a seven member cordination committee to ensure better cordination between the Government and the Party Organisation for rendering better service to the public.
''BJP State Chief Bhagat Singh Koshyari will be the Chairman of the Committee and both him and Mr Khanduri would decide on the membership of the committee,'' he added.
He said it was the prerogative of the CM to select his cabinet ministers and soon after Mr Khanduri proved his majority in the Assembly floor, he and Mr Koshyari would complete the formalities of chalking out the cabinet in coming days.
Maintaining that the state has got an able CM in Mr Khanduri, he said the BJP Government would certainly live up to the expectations of the people.
over the failure of the party to come in power with majority Mr Singh said the party would review the election result in the state.
