7 killed, 34 injured in road accident in Uttarakhand
Dehradun, Mar 8 (UNI) At least 7 people including two women, were killed and 34 others injured when a bus plunged into a river yesterday at Satputli in Pauri district of Uttarakhand, official sources said today.
According to the Disaster Management Control Room, the bus was on its way to Chargarh from Kotdwar when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it plunged into Nayarnadi river near Satputli.
While five people drowned to death, two others succumed to their injuries at Satputli hospital, where the injured have been admitted.
