5 Regional Schools of Drama proposed

New Delhi, Mar 8 (UNI) The Union Government is considering opening five more National Schools of Drama in the country, the Lok Sabha was told today.

Minister of State for Urban Development Ajay Maken said in a written answer that the Broad based Committee of the National School of Drama has recommended opening of Regional Schools of Drama in five regions of the country.

The five localities identified by the Broad based Committee are Bangalore, Maharashtra/Goa, Kolkata, North East and Jammu and Kashmir.
