UP, Haryana farmers clash; one killed
Saharanpur, Mar 7 (UNI) A man was killed and 10 others seriously injured in a firing between the Uttar Pradesh and Haryana farmers in Fatehpur Jat village of the district today.
The dispute was related to land, which soon turned violent and the rival groups beat each other black and blue.
A villager was killed and 10 others were seriously injured after the rival groups resorted to firing, police said.
The deceased was identified as Harjindra Singh of Haryana.
The injured included six farmers from UP, while four belonged to Haryana, police added.
Meanwhile, local police has been deployed to avoid any fresh violence.
