Robbers lynch cop in AP village

Sanga Reddy, Andhra Pradesh, Mar 7 (UNI) Robbers killed a police constable by beating him to death with an iron rod near Naraspur village of Jinnaram mandal in Medak district today.

Police said constable Satyanarayana of Jinnaram station, was coming home from the station on his bike. He noticed that a scooter was parked on the road side between Narsapur and Gummaddela forest area. The robbers attacked the cop when he was noting down the number of the scooter.

The constable succumbed to head injuries on the spot. The robbers fled from the scene. A case was registered and hunt was on to nab the culprits.
