No ban on recruitment in Central Govt: Pachauri
New Delhi, Mar 7 (UNI) The Government today announced in the Lok Sabha that there is no ban on recruitment in the Central Government.
Giving a reply during Question Hour, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Suresh Pachauri said there is no proposal before the Government for increasing the number of posts in class III and IV categories by decreasing the number of posts in class I and II categories.
He said the posts are created on the basis of functional requirements and justification. Depending on the specific needs and requirements, posts are created in appropriate groups and scales, he added.
He said on an average around three per cent staff retires annually and around one per cent is filled up per year, he added.
