HC directs Bihar Govt to probe irregularities in business school

Patna, Mar 7 (UNI) Patna High court today asked the Bihar government to probe into the alleged irregularities at Lalit Narayan Institute of Business Management, Muzaffarpur, and sumbit the report within eight weeks.

A division bench comprising Justices Aftab Alam and Rekha Kumari passed the order on a public interst litigation (PIL) petition filed by the business college's non-teaching employees association.

The court told the government to set up a committee for such probe into the irregularities of the management institution.

The PIL alleged the chairman of the college Dr Jagannath Mishra had misappropriated funds and resources of the college. It also alleged the chairman got appointed his son Nitish Mishra without requisite qualification as additional director (Adminstartion) of the institute.
