New Delhi, Mar 7 (UNI) Declining to enhance the entry age for nursery admissions, the Delhi High Court today referred the issue to the Ganguly Committee.
A Division Bench of Justices M K Sharma and Sanjeev Khanna said the Ganguly Committe would look into the matter and submit its report by March 31.
The court had earlier suggested the Delhi government to reduce the preparatory stage of two years of nursery and KG to one year so as to enable the child to be in class I at the age of five.
The state government had filed an application before the court to enhance the age of entry to three-and-a-half years from three.
