Board exam takes toll, 15-yr-old hangs herself

New Delhi, Mar 7 (UNI) A 15-year-old today allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her Mongolpuri residence in North-West Delhi reportedly due to the pressure of board examinations.

Priyanka, whose father is a Junior Engineer in the electrical department in R K Puram, was found hanging this morning from a fan of her room by family members.

She was rushed to the Sanjay Gandhi Hospital where she was declared brought dead.

No suicide note has been found but neighbours said she was stressed due to the class tenth board exams.

Priyanka, who had failed in Class VIII, was appearing as a private candidate for her class tenth boards.
