Policeman's wife immolates herself

Mahoba, Mar 6 (UNI) A woman committed suicide at her residence in Bhatipura area of the district today.

Jaya -- wife of constable Ram Charan Singh -- doused herself with kerosene and set herself afire under Bhatipura police station area.

The reason behind the crime, however, remained a puzzle, police said.

A case was registered and investigations were on.
