Holi celebrations reach its peak in Manipur

Imphal, Mar 6 (UNI) Holi celebrations reached its peak here as the festivities entered the fourth day.

Holi or Yaoshang( as termed in Manipuri) is celebrated in Manipur for full five days. Though all business and educational establishments remained closed, board examinations were conducted smoothly throughout the state today.

The streets were converted to playgrounds as sports meet were organised in different parts of the state.

Thabal Chongba (dance in the moonlit night) was also organised in every locality where young girls and boys dance in a circle.
