Hyderabad, Mar 6 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders today alleged that the Andhra Pradesh government was reluctant to discuss various public issues in the state Assembly and was creating problems by adjourning the House and denying chances to opposition leaders to raise issues.

Talking to mediapersons outside the Assembly after they walked out of the House protesting against the adjournment, TDP Deputy Leader N Janardhana Reddy and T Devender Goud alleged Speaker K R Suresh Reddy was unnecessarily adjourning the House without hearing opposition pleas and wasting precious time.

They alleged the government was trying to choke the voice of the opposition by not allowing them to raise any issue concerning public. The Speaker was not treating the opposition on par with ruling party members.

They objected to Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's interference whenever the opposition was talking on any subject, stating he was doing this only to stall the proceedings.

Mr Reddy alleged that Congress members were trying to utilise the assembly as 'Gandhi Bhavan', state headquarters of the party.
