Eight nominations for council byelection in Bihar

Darbhanga, Mar 6 (UNI) Altogether eight candidates, including Congress and JD(U) nominees, today filed their nomination papers for Darbhanga graduate constituency byelection for the Bihar Legislative Council to be held on March 24.

Filing of nomination would continue till tomorrow and the scrutiny will be held on March 8.

Withdrawal of candidature is on March 10.

The byelection is due to death of Congress member Nilambar Choudhry.
