Education, employment summit begins in state capital

Hyderabad, Mar 6 (UNI) Educationists from six countries participated in the annual 'education and employment summit', being organised by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in the city today.

According to a press release here, the participants from Egypt, Indonesia, Morocco, Pakistan, Philippines and India exchanged their experiences on working with public and private organisations to support youth education and employment.

In India, USAID's support for education was focussing on improving the quality of education through the use of technology and other strategies to reach the underserved and vulnerable children, the release added.
