Chennai, Mar 6 (UNI) The brother of city-based Tennis coach Suresh Kumar has denied the allegation of sexual harassment levelled against his brother by his second wife, Deepa.

Mr Sekhar, the elder brother of Suresh, a practising advocate in the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court told newspersons here yesterday that the allegations made by Deepa, against his brother were baseless.

As the divorce case pertaining to Suresh and Deepa was pending before a family court and knowing fully that she was going to lose her case, Deepa, intentionally, with a view to tarnishing the reputation of his brother was twisting the issue, Mr Sekhar alleged.

Referring to the photographs in which Mr Suresh was seen in the company of girls, Mr Sekhar said the photographs were taken during a new year party at a city Dance club, where Deepa was also a member.

When contacted Deepa said she was firm on her charges against the coach. She said she had ample evidence to prove her charges against him.

In her complaint to the city Police Commissioner Letika Saran, a few days ago, Deepa charged Kumar with indulging in ''intimacy'' with girls, who came for tennis coaching, besides sexually harassing her and sought suitable action against him.

Based on her complaint, the city police had arrested Suresh and remanded him in judicial custody.
