BJP fighting MP bypolls on development issue: Vishnoi

Sidhi, MP, Mar 6 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Health Minister Ajay Vishnoi today claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is contesting the byelections to Sidhi (ST) and Gwalior parliamentary constituencies and Udaypura assembly seat on the development issue.

''The state's ruling BJP achieved development at a rapid pace over the past three years. Sidhi will be retained by the party,'' he claimed in a chat with mediapersons here.

On the other hand, Congress star campaigner and former minister Ajay Singh said at Choufal, 20 km from here, that the BJP would not succeed despite misuse of administrative machinery.

Polling is scheduled for March 8 and counting will take place on March 11.
