Youths killed in mishap in the state

Kancheepuram, Mar 5: Two youths were killed when their motorcycle was hit by a government bus on the GST Road here yesterday.

Police here said Haridas (20) and his friend Palani (19), both from Chennai, were proceeding to Hanumanthapuram Koil from Kundrathur when the bus going to Tiruvannamalai hit them.

In the impact, the duo were thrown off the vehicle. While Haridas died on the spot, Palani, who sustained serious injuries, breathed his last en route to the hospital.
