Youth stabbed to death over old enmity in Akola

Akola, Mar 5 (UNI) Seven assailants stabbed a youth to death over an old enmity, in Akot file area here.

The assailants yesterday stabbed Manoj Amrsing Sangrel (23), a sweeper, to death with a sharp edged spear several times at his residence in Bapu Nagar over old enmity, police said.

The accused have been booked under sections 14, 147, 148, 149 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 4 (25) of Arms Act and section 135 of Bombay Police Act.

One of the seven assailants, Bajrang Kalicharan Nage has been arrested and a 'katta') sharp-edged spear and 10 cricket bats seized from his residence, they added.
