Suspension of MLAs revoked, House proceedings begin
Jaipur, Mar 5 (UNI) Rajasthan Assembly proceedings, stalled thrice in the day, began here late afternoon after the suspension of four legislators was revoked.
When the House met at around 1430 hrs, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Opposition leader Ram Narain Choudhary expressed concern over the happenings in the House.
On chief whip Mahavir Jain's motion, the revoking of suspension of the legislators was passed by a thumping majority. Later three of the four suspended MLAs came into the House. CPI(M)'s Amraram expressed regret over the behaviour of the legislators.
Four legislators including CPI (M)'s Amraram, Lok Jan Shakti Party's Ranvir Singh Gudha, Bahujan Samaj Party's Murari Lal Meena and Suresh Meena were suspended after they disrupted Governor's address on the first day of the Budget Session.
BJP's Vishnu Modi passed the motion for Vote of Thanks which was seconded by Jogaram Patel.
