Patni Systems strengthens its infrastructure management services

Bangalore, Mar 5 (UNI) Global IT services provider Patni Computer Systems today announced that Dr Sanjay Savla, former Vice-President and global service delivery executive at Computer Science Corporation (CSC), joined Patni Infrastructure Management Services (IMS) Business Unit as Senior Vice-President and business unit head.

Dr Savla would be responsible for building and growing the IMS business worldwide and implementing strategic service offerings for a portfolio of Fortune 1000 companies, a company release here said.

Dr Savla brought with him more than 18 years of industry experience and executive, global leadership capabilities managing global infrastructure, database and applications.

Company Chief Technology Officer Satish Joshi said ''IMS represents one of the most promising, but underdeveloped market opportunities in IT services, which Patni intends to seize upon by adding to our wealth of domain experts.'' Patni provided comprehensive services to enable enterprises to scale their IT infrastructure to support business growth.
