Minor forest produce seized

Dewas (MP), Mar 5 (UNI) About six quintals of minor forest produce 'Gondh' (gum) valued at about Rs 70,000 was seized while being illegally transported in Kannod forest area of this district yesterday.

During a checking at Siyaghat barrier, the vehicle used in illegal transporting was seized and two persons -Omprakash and Asif- arrested, forest officials said.
