Man injured while watching demonstration of heroic arts

Kolhapur, Mar 5 (UNI) A man was seriously injured when a spear, thrown by a participant, accidentally hit his head while he was watching a demonstration of heroic arts for foreign tourists here.

The participant was showing demonstration of Maharashtra's heroic arts to the tourists, travelling on board the superluxury train 'Deccan Odyssey' at the historic Bhavani mandap, when the mishap occurred, police said yesterday.

The injured, identified as Balu Sathe, a resident of the Kalamba suburb, was among the audience. He was rushed to the civil hospital here, then shifted to a private hospital, police added.
