Man held with fake passport

Chennai, Mar 5 (UNI) The Airport police today arrested a person for landing here with a fake passport from Jeddah, at Anna International Airport.

Police said, the arrested Nazeer (32) of Thondarnadu in Kerala had left for Jeddah three years ago for a job. He arrived by a Kuwait Airlines flight and submitted his passport to the Immigration authorities, who found it to be fake on verification.

Later, he was handed over to local police. Nazeer was remanded to judicial custody, police added.
