Law students injured in group clash, hospitalised
Kozhikode, Mar 5 (UNI) As many as ten students of Kozhikode Law College were injured in a group clash between rival student wings affiliated to different political parties in the campus here today.
The injured students -- six owing allegiance to Kerala Students Union-Muslims Students' Federation (KSU-IUML) combine and four Students Federation of India (SFI) activists -- were admitted to Kozhikode Medical College, police said.
Old enmity was said to be the reason behind the clashes, police said.
A case has been registered and investigation was on, they added.
Meanwhile, the Opposition United Democratic Front had called for a hartal in Kozhikode taluk tomorrow in protest against the attack on KSU-IUML activists.
