Kumaraswamy greets Gangubai Hangal on her 95th birthday

Bangalore, Mar 5 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy greeted renowned Hindustani vocalist Gangubai Hangal, who turned 95 today.

In his greetings, he said ''the Kirana Gharana fame Gangubai Hangal spread India's music culture throughout the world. The Queen of Hindustani Vocal, as 'Hiriakka' (elder sister), is a great inspiration to all of us. Let her sweet voice continue to enthrall music lovers always.'' UNI
