Hooch kills two in Bengal

Barrackpore, Mar 5 (UNI) At least two people have died and four fell seriously ill after they consumed country liquor in the past 72 hours at Subhas Nagar in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district, police said today.

The sick people were admitted to a local nursing home.

They fell sick after consuming illicit liquor being bought from a local outlet.

Bhola Ghosh died in NRS Hospital in Kolkata today while Babai Ghosh died at his home on March 2.

The police have started an investigation into the case.
