RTC employees to organise mass dharnas in AP
Hyderabad, Mar 4 (UNI) Demanding that the government cancel the permission granted to private bus operators in Andhra Pradesh, National Mazdoor Union (NMU) President N A Khan today said a large number of state owned Road Transport Corpoation (RTC) workers would participate in agitation programmes at all mandal and district headquarters from March five to eight.
Speaking to newspersons here, Mr Khan said the union would organise dharnas and stage demonstrations to protest against the government's 'anti-RTC development' policies.
The RTC workers would block private buses plying from the districts to the capital city during the agitation, Mr Khan said the workers would participate in a mass hunger strike on March seven in the city.
