One arrested, militant hideout busted in J and k

Srinagar, Mar 4 (UNI) Security forces arrested one person along with two Improvised Explosives Device (IEDs) and busted a militant hideout in Jammu and Kashmir overnight, a police spokesman said.

He said Jammu and Kashmir police apprehended one suspected militant and recovered two IEDs from his instance at Wanigam-Pattan in north Kashmir district of Baramulla last night.

During a search operation police busted a militant hideout at Sui Top Sector in Gondoh area of Doda district last evening and recovered a 12 bore gun, a gas gun, three magazines, a Light Machine Gun Magazine, 74 AK rounds, 70 SLR rounds, two hand grenades, two IEDs with six batteries, two binoculars, one wireless set and some eatables.
