Minor raped and killed in Bihar

Munger, Mar 4 (UNI) A minor girl was killed after being raped at Lal Kothi under Kotwali police station here today.

Deputy Police Superintendent Imtiaz Ahmad Khan said that the criminals picked up the girl when she was playing holi with her friends near her residence in Lal Kothi locality. Later the girl was raped and subsequently killed.

Mr Khan said raids were being carried out to nab the criminals while the body was sent for autopsy.

Meanwhile, local residents pelted stones at Kotwali police station to vent their anger over the incident.

Patrolling had been intensified to avert any untoward incident in the area, he added.
