IRP jawan dies after a fall from hill in Kathua

Jammu, mar 4 (UNI) A Indian Reserve Police (IRP) jawan today died after he fell from a hill during a search operation at Kanjli Dhar under police station Malhar in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said.

Constable Farooq Ahmed fell down from Kathali hill of Kanjli Dhar, during a joint operation launched by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and IRP, sources said.

The jawan, who belonged to the 2nd IRP Bn, died on the spot, they added.
