Indian fishermen escape unhurt in Lankan attack
Rameswaram, Mar 4 (UNI) A group of Indian fishermen escaped unhurt after their Lankan counterparts attacked them with country-made bombs and sank their boat near Katchatheevu today.
Police sources said the incident occurred when a group of fishermen were fishing in about 100 boats near Katchathevu.
The bomb fell in one of the boats, in which four fishermen were onboard.
However, they escaped unhurt by jumping into the sea.
The fishermen were brought to the shore by their colleagues.
