Hyundai car price hike in post budget regime
Kolkata, Mar 4 (UNI) Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), India's second largest car manufacturing company, will revise the prices of all its cars in the middle of this month.
A company release here said the increase in price would be effective although the exact quantum of increase was being worked out. ''The price hike was mainly because of the additional one per cent education cess that the Centre has decided to levy in this fiscal,'' it said.
The release quoting HMIL Managing Director H.S.Lheem said ''Due to a one per cent increase in education cess in the Union Budget, Hyundai cars would cost more to the end consumer.'' UNI
