Day temperatures high in AP, Tamil Nadu, Kutch, Goa

Pune, Mar 4 (UNI) Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu and were above normal in some parts of Saurashtra, Kutch, Konkan, Goa, south Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and in remaining parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh and of Tamil Nadu.

They were appreciably to markedly below normal in Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa and of north Madhya Maharashtra and were below normal in some parts of Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Marathwada, Vidarbha and Chattisgarh.

They were normal over the rest of the country.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in east Uttar Pradesh and in some parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Haryana and of north Madhya Maharashtra. It was below normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Uttaranchal, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and Marathwada.

They were appreciably above normal in coastal Andhra Pradesh and in some parts of Tamil Nadu and were above normal in some parts of Saurashtra, Kutch, Konkan and Goa and of Kerala and in remaining parts of Tamil nadu.

They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Uttaranchal,Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Rain or snow have occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over west Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra,Marathwada, Telangana, Rayalaseema and Karnataka.
