'Phaguni Poonam Mela' ends peacefully

Anand, Mar 3 (UNI) The four-day ''Phaguni Poonam mela'', held at the Ranchhod Mandir at Dakor in Kheda district, concluded peacefully today.

Kheda District Collector R R Varsani said the event, which commenced from February 28, passed off peacefully, with over 15 lakh pilgrims taking 'darshan' of the deity during the period. An elaborate security arrangement was made by the Dakor administration, police and temple management for the smooth conduct of the fair, he added.

The devotees were provided with medical camps, free lodging and meals at various points leading to the mandir.
