Cong MLA summoned to court on Apr 7

Bangalore, Mar 3 (UNI) A local Court today issued summons to Congress MLA from Channapatna C P Yogeswara to appear on April seven in connection with the alleged false information furnished before the Lok Ayukta.

According to a note issued by the Lok Ayukta office here, the Registrar filed a complaint under Section 200 of the Criminal Procedure Code before the Eighth Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, who took cognizance of the matter and issued summons.

The Registrar's action followed a direction from the Lok Ayukta after verifying facts relating to a complaint by one Ravindar Beleyur in connection with the false declaration made by the Legislator while declaring his assets and liabilities before the Lok Ayukta.
