CCL registers profit of Rs 775 cr in current fiscal

Ranchi, Mar 3: The Central Coalfields Limited has registered profitof Rs 775 crore in the current fiscal till date and was set to achieveannual target of 42 million tonnes production within the stipulatedtime.

CCL Chairman-cum-Managing Director R P Ritolia today urged thecompany officials to ensure safety and quality standards whileattaining the production target of 85 lakh tonnes.

Mr Ritolia today headed the co-ordination committee meeting ofChief General Managers and General Managers at CCL headquarters hereand congratulated all the employees for their performances.

The company touched record production of coal at 48.92 lakh tonnelast month as compared to 40.27 lakh tonne in the corresponding periodlast year, registering a growth of 21 per cent.
