Agumbe records lowest temp 6.2 deg. celsius

Bangalore, Feb 3 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today.

Dry weather prevailed over the State.

Maximum temperatures fell at most places over North Interior Karnataka; at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka. They were appreciably below normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka, below normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka.

Raichur recorded the maximum temperature of 34.8 deg. Celsius over the State.

Minimum temperature rose at many places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. They were below normal at most places being appreciably so at many places over North Interior Karnataka, below normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka, however they were above normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka.

Agumbe recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 6.2 deg.

Forecast valid until Monday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over Coastal Karnataka and dry weather may prevail over North Interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather may prevail over Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada districts and dry weather may prevail over remaining districts of the State.
