Tributes paid to jawans
Visakahpatnam, Mar 2 (UNI) Floral tributes were paid to jawans S P R Varahala Raju and Lakshman Rao, who were killed in anti-militancy operations in Jammu and Kashmir.
The mortal remains of the two jawans were flown to Naval Air Staion here, from New Delhi and handed over to their relatives.
According to a Naval spokesperson, the 'Veer Jawans', attached to the Engineering Regiment, were posted in Nagrota in Jammu and Kashmir. During an anti-insurgency search operation, they sustained bullet injuries, to which they later succumbed.
