Okram sworn-in as Manipur CM for second term

Imphal, Mar 02: Okram Ibobi Singh sworn in as Manipur Chief Minister for second consecutive term.

Manipur is the only state where Congress has performed well in the recently conducted State Assembly elections. Inflation, being the most important reasons, took away Punjab and Uttarkhand from Congress.

Though Congress did not win absolute majority in state, it is grearing up to form a government by allying with like-minded parties.
