NCP's 4 ZP and 9 PS candidates elected unopposed

Sangli, Maharashtra, Mar 2 (UNI) The Nationalist Congress Party's (NCP) four candidates of Zilla Parishad (ZP) and nine Panchayat Samiti (PS) were elected unaopposed in Sangli district after the end of nominations withdrawal here today.

The unopposed candidates are from Tasgaon tehsil, the home constituency of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil.

Remaining two ZP constituency and three PS elections will be held on March eleven.

UNI
