Ibobi swears in as Manipur Chief Minister

Imphal, Mar 2(uni) Mr Okram Ibobi Singh was today sworn in as the 26th Chief Minister of Manipur by Governor Dr S S Sidhu for the second consecutive term.

Mr Singh took the oath of office and secrecy in the packed banquet hall. All the elected MLAs, former chief minister W Nipamacha Singh, Union Minister for Labour and Employment Oscar Fernandes and a large number of other officials attended the function. Mr Singh was the only one who took oath today.

He said the ministry would be expanded after holi.
